Editorial method
Every assertion in Francorium carries its source, its licence and its review status. Nothing is anonymous; nothing machine-made is passed off as human-reviewed.
Three layers, never blended
Contemporary definitions written for Francorium, morphological data imported from Morphalou, and historical testimony from witness dictionaries are kept distinct on every page — each with its own provenance.
Review statuses
- Draft — awaiting review, served with a banner, never indexed.
- Automated validation — drafted with AI assistance, then judged by a separate model family (two concordant calls, versioned criteria) with a human sample reviewed on every batch.
- Internally reviewed — read and approved by the editorial team.
- Expert reviewed — signed off by a named expert reviewer.
Historical witnesses
A witness dictionary keeps its own voice: its senses are never merged into ours, its text is quoted with attribution, and its era is always visible.
